Pinzolo

Description

Pinzolo sits across the Val Rendena from Madonna di Campiglio, linked to it by the Campiglio Express gondola, but with a distinctly different character - a quieter, more traditional Trentino village with noticeably steeper, more technical skiing than its glamorous neighbour. It's also home to the Danza Macabra, a striking 16th-century "Dance of Death" fresco painted across the facade of the Chiesa di San Vigilio.
