Folgarida and Marilleva are two purpose-built resort villages in the Val di Sole, linked together and onward to Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo on the same skipass. What sets this corner of the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta network apart is genuine car-free access - the Trento-Malè regional railway runs right into the valley, with stations at Daolasa and Marilleva connecting directly to gondolas into the ski area.
Around 22 km of pistes are easy, gentle runs - a higher proportion than at neighbouring Pinzolo, making this a more beginner-friendly base.
