Description
Madesimo sits at the head of the Valchiavenna, close to the Swiss border, and is best known among Italian skiers for the Canalone - a demanding off-piste route from Pizzo Groppera - and for lift access into the scenic Valle di Lei. It shares its skipass with neighbouring Campodolcino as the Skiarea Valchiavenna.
