Cima Piazzi-San Colombano is the quietest and most family-oriented of the three Alta Valtellina ski areas, reached via Isolaccia in Valdidentro or Le Motte/Oga in Valdisotto, just outside Bormio. It's a sunny, easy-going alternative to its bigger neighbours, sharing the same skipass and free ski bus as Bormio and Santa Caterina Valfurva.

A sunny, sheltered position keeps conditions generally pleasant, though as the lowest-altitude of the three Alta Valtellina areas it can be more exposed to warmer spells than Bormio or Santa Caterina.
